ABOUT US

The USC Alumni Club of the San Gabriel Valley has been USC's official alumni organization in the San Gabriel Valley since 1984. Along with a full calendar of activities for alumni, the Club is also involved in awarding scholarship funds to current USC students from our area. 

 

Our Club is an official Alumni organization of the University of Southern California.  However, we are completely volunteer run and solely financed by the generous donations of members of our club.  We do not receive funding from the University for our operations or fundraising campaigns.


We currently represent the cities of Alhambra, Altadena, Arcadia, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bradbury, City of Industry, Covina, Duarte, El Monte, Glendora, Hacienda Heights, Irwindale, La Canada Flintridge, La Puente, Monrovia, Monterey Park, Mt. Wilson, North El Monte, Pasadena, Rosemead, Rowland Heights, San Gabriel, San Marino, Sierra Madre, South El Monte, South Pasadena, Temple City, Walnut, and West Covina.  We also represent the Crescenta Valley (Sunland, Shadow Hills, Tujunga, Verdugo City, Montrose, La Crescenta), Glendale, Pomona Valley cities within LA County (La Verne, San Dimas, Claremont, Pomona, Diamond Bar), and the Gateway Cities (Montebello, Bell, Bell Gardens, Downey, Huntington Park, Lynwood, Maywood, South Gate, Whittier, La Habra Heights, La Habra, La Mirada, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Artesia, Cerritos, Avalon, Bellflower, Paramount).

 

Mission:

The USC Alumni Association's regional clubs promote the mission of the USCAA on a local level to alumni and friends.  Accordingly, the Clubs offer a diverse selection of activities and programs aimed at growing the number of event attendees; build a culture of philanthropy by working to provide opportunities for Trojans to contribute financially to the Club, the USCAA and the university; serve as a representative voice for alumni by communicating regularly with local Trojans as well as with USCAA staff; convey information about USC to alumni and about local alumni to USC; help facilitate USC programs in their local area; and foster a spirit of and volunteerism amount the Trojan Family by growing club membership an creating meaningful and convenient opportunities for alumni and friends to volunteer their time and services on behalf of USC.

 

Value Statement: 

The USC Alumni Club of the San Gabriel Valley provides a lifetime of opportunities to keep your USC connection alive.  Through the generous time given by its volunteers, the club connects alumni with the university, advertises the USC experience, helps build professional relationships among alumni, friends and the the community, and creates bonds among the local Trojan Family.  In addition, the club provides scholarships to local students attending USC.
